It's no secret that Miami Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria is looking to make changes to the Marlins baseball operations department, starting with the managerial position.
Today the Miami Marlins interviewed former MLB manager Manny Acta, reason for the meeting was not disclosed.
Manny Acta is a former professional baseball manager who is currently analyst for ESPN and ESPN Deportes. He served as manager for the Washington Nationals, Cleveland Indians, the Dominican Republic team in the 2006 World Baseball Classic and he also managed in the Dominican Winter League for the Tigres De Licey where he lead them to victory at the 2004 Caribbean Series.
Manny Acta brings MLB and International managerial experience, even though the Marlins are not commentating on the reports of the meeting this can only fortify reports that Dan Jennings role will be a return to the front office.
